The product also contributes to improvement of water tightness performance due to the expansive strain stemming from the product compresses the internal voids inside of the concrete. Its main component is Calcium Sulfoaluminate and Calcium Oxide. Denka Power CSA Type-S introduced expansive strain to concrete during curing state for compensation of the drying shrinkage.

Shelf Life
Denka Power CSA Type-S has a shelf life of 12 months in unopened containers.
Product Handling
  • Use an iron agitating or stainless-steel blade. Avoid using aluminum blade due to generation of hydrogen gas while mixing the mortar which may lead to explosion.
  • Use specific amounts of water. Using amount of water which outside the needed range may affect the performance.
  • Wear protective gear (goggles, mask, gloves, and rubber boots) while handling the product. Do not dispose of the product in drains.
  • Wash any part of the body which is in contact with Denka Power CSA Type-S as it is alkaline. 
  • Once opened, the product should be used up completely. Otherwise, reseal for storage.
  • The product should be stored in a dry area, indoors, and out of direct sunlight.
Storage Condition/Temperature
Kept in a dry store. In high humidity locations, the shelf life may be reduced.
