Estotect SWR is a single component penetrating silane siloxane system which penetrates into porous substrates and then reacts to produce a bonded hydrophobic lining to the pores. Although allowing passage of water vapour from the substrates 
it significantly reduces the absorption of water and water borne salts. 
 
Estotect SWR does not discolour most substrates and has excellent resistance to weathering.

Application

Estotect SWR is a silane-siloxane based surface water repellent and waterproofer for the invisible protection of brickwork, cement plaster, concrete etc., including limestone and chalks. It is particularly useful for dipping precast work, tiles etc.  
 
Unlike the normally available silicone water repellents, Estotect SWR is suitable for application on damp surfaces.

Limitations

Estotect SWR requires 24 hours of exposure to the atmosphere before it becomes fully effective, hence it should be applied in dry weather conditions.
